Hi, my name is Yoke Louie and I got involved with the Canadian Chinese Orchestra through Shaolin Quanfa Institute’s music program and my Erhu teacher, Jade. I retired 8 years ago from nursing and picked up a few hobbies to occupy my time. One is the Erhu and the other is painting. I work mostly with oil paints. Being a senior myself, I enjoyed my time practicing arts in both music and painting. The fundraising for “One Meal at a Time” program is very meaningful as it supports low-income seniors by providing them free and nutritious meals. Through these paintings, I hope to make this contribution to the program and support the Canadian Chinese Orchestra for such a meaningful cause.
*All proceeds earned from this auction after expenses will be donated to the “One Meal at a Time” program.

- All winning bids to be paid by e-transfer to donate@canadianchineseorchestra.com before June 30th, NO CASH accepted
- Pickup information will be provided once payment has been made in full – and any other disclaimers
- Winners of each bidding round will be notified by email
- Please bid in increments of 10$ for paintings starting at 30$ and 50$, and an increment of 25$ for paintings starting at 100$
- All net proceeds will be donated to the “One Meal at a Time” program to support seniors in the community
